This place is a lawless free-for-all, and its common knowledge that if you piss off the wrong people, youll meet a bitter end. Its also pretty well-known that safety doesnt exist, and that trying to be a good person is a stupid mistake.

Zoe has lived here her whole life, so she knows exactly how to navigate the violence. Armed with an infamous reputation, a lack of remorse, and—of course—a knife, she doesnt hesitate to seek the adventure she craves.

Enter Remi, the new prey to the unapologetic streets. Now that shes returning to the island after years of being on the run with her family, shes an outcast in every aspect of her life. And it doesnt help that her parents forced her into being a killer-for-hire to help pay off their debt.

When the two accidentally cross paths and end up tangled in each others messes, they form an unsteady alliance in hopes of making their everyday fights for survival a bit more interesting. But theres more lurking beneath the islands surface…and Zoe and Remi find themselves far deeper than they expected.

The only way to get answers is to go along for the ride. If they play their cards right, everything just might work to their benefit.
