Months after quitting her marketing job and throwing her smartphone away, burned out Summer Gomez has found refuge in living an analog life. Where once she was drowning in social media metrics, now Summer spends her time junk journaling. Its the perfect hobby for someone who cant bear to throw anything away—especially people.

Summers commitment to holding on tightly to all her friendships is put to the test when one of her friends tasks her with looking after a basset hound with a tummy problem. Then her ex-boyfriend Lucas Alcantara is hired to paint a mural at the Manhattan bookstore where she works as assistant manager. As they work side by side and the tension between them rises along with the temperature, Summer finds herself wondering if she and Lucas should give their relationship another shot.
