That Dark Place

"Drew had never touched a minor before.
But now, sitting in his car, looking through the windows… he wondered if he could—if hed dare."

The Chilling Conclusion to the Otherealm Saga

Its been two years since Pittston Police Chief Brent Lawton and his wife discovered a girl, barely into her teens, weeping in an aisle of a grocery store, her life scarred by pain and rejection.

At eleven years of age, Elizabeth Franklins curiosity about forbidden online images drew her into the shadowy world of pornography, where explicit websites provided glimpses into what adults do behind closed doors. In chat rooms, she found fleeting popularity, especially among men.

More than three years of online give and take placed Elizabeth in a position to make a reckless decision—a one-on-one encounter with a teenage boy that produced a life-altering consequence: pregnancy.

After being tossed aside by socially conscious parents for her refusal to get an abortion, Elizabeth found rekindled hope within the home of the Lawton family.

But danger lurks beneath the newfound security. Her ongoing online habits have attracted a predator who now knows how to find her. As the threat closes in, the Lawtons remain unaware, and Elizabeth believes shes met a man who can make her dreams come true.

That Dark Place, the award-winning final chapter of the Otherealm Saga, delivers a gripping tale of vulnerability, redemption, and a battle against a sinister darkness.
