Soon, the group is joined by the ever-hungry Dutchman Mijnherr Willem van Aardappelenbosch, whose enormous appetite often causes as much trouble as it solves, and Captain Heimdall Turnerstick, a boastful sailor convinced that he can speak perfect Chinese through creative linguistic improvisation.
