Sinopsis
Two killings, 500 miles apart, seem unconnected. A girls body is discovered in a doorway in London, and another body is found in Dundee, Scotland. When the Scottish body mysteriously vanishes from the mortuary, Police Scotland washes their hands of the investigation. Given that the murdered girl in Scotland had recently traveled from London, DCI Steve Burt is assigned both cases. As Steve and his team delve deeper, they must battle political greed, a ruthless killer, and major corruption. They unearth a devious plan that aims to give the UK complete world domination and make a government minister extraordinarily rich. To protect his expected wealth, the minister will eliminate anyone who gets in his way. Steve and his team face a succession of seemingly unrelated murders before the two cases finally converge.
