The Threshold
Where the Light Forgets
Sinopsis
Marcus Veil is a Guardian — an agent trained to suppress Projections: psychic entities generated by human trauma that should dissipate within weeks. But in Caden, the Projections dont fade. They gather. They learn to speak. And on the wall of an underground chamber, they keep a list.
When Marcus descends into the tunnels of the Bellmer Industrial Quarter, he finds that list. And on it, his name. Written before he ever set foot in Caden.
As his identity begins to crack — memories that feel too perfect, a callus on the wrong finger, dreams that feel like calibrations — Marcus is forced to confront a truth he never imagined: he is not the hunter. He is the prey.
And the choice he makes in the darkness beneath Caden will decide the fate of everyone who, like him, has learned to exist beyond the boundaries of reality.
"A gripping psychological thriller that explores the fragility of memory, the nature of identity, and the price of freedom."
