The Version That Survived

She remembers leaving Ravenwood Psychiatric Center. But what if the life she returned to isnt the one she left behind?

After surviving an abusive relationship and a psychiatric hospitalization, Naomi Ellis is determined to rebuild her life. She has learned to question her memories, document her experiences, and trust the evidence when her own mind feels unreliable.

But then the evidence begins to contradict her.

A familiar restaurant is no longer where it should be. A photograph changes before her eyes. A voice recording captures Naomi describing a hospital corridor she doesnt remember returning to.

And somewhere inside Ravenwoods records, a piece of her story is missing.

As Naomi searches for answers, the line between memory and reality begins to fracture. Her therapist offers explanations. Her loved ones remember events differently. And a mysterious researcher uncovers troubling inconsistencies surrounding Ravenwood Psychiatric Center.

Every discovery raises another question.

Is Naomi experiencing the lasting effects of trauma? Is someone manipulating the evidence? Or did something happen inside Ravenwood that changed the reality she returned to?

The deeper she investigates, the more terrifying the possibilities become.

Because surviving something doesnt always mean escaping it.

And sometimes, the most frightening question isnt what happened to you—but who you became in order to survive.

The Version That Survived is a haunting psychological horror novel exploring trauma, memory, manipulation, identity, and the unsettling possibility that reality itself cannot always be trusted.

Some things you forget. Others forget you.
