A MIND BLOWN IS A MIND SHOWN

This irreverent musical memoir is a heady journey from the imagined mountains of rural Illinois to the grime of the Windy City, and onto the subterranean sonic landscapes of Japan and the UK. Psychedelic svengali Plastic Crimewave is creator of the celebrated hallucinogenic Galactic Zoo Dossier ’zine and the 20-years-running Secret History of Chicago Music column in the Chicago Reader-not to mention acid-punkin’ bandleader, conductor of guitar orchestras, and booker of the international-freak-spanning Million Tongues festivals. Tune out, turn on, and drop in for decadent tales of rock gods, folk legends, underground underdogs, avant garde gurus, mass murderers, tours gone wrong, and working in a record shop in ye olde edgy 90s and beyond. Includes personal photos and artwork/ephemera from the PCW archives.
