DAWN LIGHT

In Dublin, young Sean OConnell discovers a startling source of redemption for his life when he receives an unexpected letter from colonial Maryland. He voyages to the New World and finds that he has become both a landowner and a slave owner. Seans own life has been one of pretense and deceit, yet he is astonished when he encounters intrigue, an attempt on his life, and deception in the land of his new home. He struggles with his role as master of the manor and with the cultural clashes and the brutality of slavery that he finds in colonial America. However, he also experiences the astonishing hand of God, true friendship, and a womans love, and his life is changed forever. The guy who wrote this book is Harv Nowland. All you really need to know about him is that he loves God, his wife and family, friends, his wifes cooking, writing, being an American, Wisconsin, and the Green Bay Packers-in that order. But, as long as youre reading about him, he also lived in Germany, Costa Rica, and Peru and has journeyed extensively throughout Europe, South America, and Asia. He and his wife served churches in Texas, Georgia, and Pennsylvania as senior pastor, and he was senior staff writer with Larry Burkett and Christian Financial Concepts (later Crown Financial Ministries) for several years. He is a freelance writer now and contributes to several ministries. Parents of two children and grandparents of six, he and his wife Bobbie live in Gainesville, Georgia._,
