Level: Intermediate (B2) A group of teenagers from different European countries go to London during the summer. Their holiday is about discovering a new city, its people and a different way of life. The students'' journey includes the highlights of London and other important cities such as Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon - the birthplace of Shakespeare. There are windows on the literary and historic figures related to the city as well as curiosities about England, the people and the language. The students also explore Camden Town, popular with young people, and the most fashionable pubs, clubs and live music venues. Exercises revise the main language points of each chapter, and the phrases essential for your own trip to London. The Internet Itineraries enable students to book flights, make restaurant and theatre reservations and organise a day trip outside London using the Internet. Most of the text and the listening exercises are recorded on an accompanying CD.
