INVITED

When Lily, a six-year-old girl with cerebral palsy, doesn’t receive an invitation to her best friend Zoe’s birthday party, she feels confused, left out and disappointed. She has experienced the unfairness of not being included because of her disability before, but this was different - this was her best friend. In this beautifully illustrated book, Zoe and her friends discover that friendship means finding a way for everyone to be included. With some creativity and thoughtful planning, the party turns into an inclusive celebration where all the children celebrate and have fun together. This book also includes contributions from CP Support Canada offering resources for parents and educators for creating inclusive environments that benefit all children. By creating inclusive environments, all children-regardless of their abilities or limitations - can thrive. CP Support Canada
