OUT OF THE BLUE

Out of the Blue is the story of the 2002 World Series champion Anaheim Angels, chronicling the championship season while reflecting on the franchises star-crossed history, starting with original owner Gene Autrys acquisition of the club in 1961. Out of the Blue includes profiles of certain players, like shortstop David Eckstein, first baseman Scott Spiezio and right fielder Tim Salmon. Included is a profile of manager Mike Scioscia, who put into practice the clubs egoless style and work ethic.
