Marcs life was a disaster. His father passed away when he was young. His mother had remarried a man that he now hated. They had moved away from his grandparents, one of the only places where he felt safe. Now he is in high school and was struggling to get through. Unable make friends and succeed in anything he tried to do, he had reached a point where he hated being alive. Then he met Cherrie. She was different and didnt treat him like all the other students at school. He enjoyed being around her and even attended church activities with her.
