Andrew Bovell (Australia, 1962) ha escrito para teatro, cine, radio y televisión. Entre sus obras teatrales se incluyen Las cosas que sé que son verdad y Cuando deje de llover, producida en Londres y en Nueva York, donde fue nombrada mejor obra nueva del año por la revista Time. Otras obras destacadas son: Anthem (2019), Holy Days (2001), Who´s afraid of the Working Class? (1998) y Speaking in Tongues (1996). Ha estrenado sus obras en Asia, América y Europa.
