J. FENIMORE COOPER

DIONISIA GARCÍA nació en Fuente-Álamo de Albacete (1929). Reside en Murcia, ciudad que reconoce como propia, desde hace más de tres décadas. Entre sus libros de poesía cabe recordar: Mnemosine (Rialp, 1981), Lugares de paso (Renacimiento, 1999) y El engaño de los días (Tusquets, 2006). Sus relatos han sido recogidos en Antiguo y mate (1985) e Imaginaciones y olvidos (1997). Esta misma editorial ha publicado recientemente la antología poética Cordialmente suya (2008), y la autobiografía novelada titulada Correo interior (2009). El caracol dorado viene precedido por Ideario de otoño (1994) y Voces detenidas (Renacimiento, 2004). La autora recoge en sus páginas aforismos, máximas y reflexiones; un modo propio de pensar y sentir, que entraña la búsqueda constante de belleza y verdad.
