A Story About Winning and Losing
Por CARTER HIGGINS

Sinopsis
In this high-energy picture book for readers ages 4-8, a hilarious feud between two teachers and their classes on Field Day reveals that true victory is taking defeat like a champion.
With Field Day approaching, the longstanding feud between Mr. Norris and Mrs. Lauderdale is ramping up. They’ve whipped out their sweatbands and are making their classes do high knees down the hallway. But as the games begin—tricycle relays and beangbag tosses—the kids start noticing that the competition between Mr. Norris and Mrs. Lauderdale is spinning out of control… and that it’s up to them to show their teachers what real winners look like.
In this uproarious picture book told from the perspective of third graders, award-winning author and former educator Carter Higgins and illustrator Shelley Johannes show readers ages 4-8 that losers can be winners, and that, most importantly, Field Day is about having fun.
