Jane

Sometimes you have to lose your voice to find your song.

Jane Fairfax, an orphaned, poor, awkward, and quiet young woman, has always felt lost in the world, held together only by the love of her aunt and grandparents. Everything changes when she meets her well-to-do best friend, opening doors she never imagined possible and pulling her into a life of opportunity. Through relentless dedication, she masters music so perfectly that she wins The Mansfield Gift, following her heart and her best friend into a new world of possibilities.

Now graduated and back home, Jane is confronted by the stark reality of the life she left behind. Surrounded by people who are proud of her and full of expectations, she feels the weight of needing to repay every kindness, even if it means giving up her own dreams. The only dissenting voice is her childhood rival, Emma Woodhouse, whose sharp judgments and constant interference threaten to undermine Janes place in the world. When Jane realizes that her musical journey might not be over, she begins to question whether living up to others expectations is worth silencing her own heart.

Can Jane find the strength to pursue what she truly loves, even if it means letting everyone down?

This modern-day reimagining of Emma explores one young womans struggle to reclaim her voice and choose her own song.
