He has no intention of helping terrorise innocent people, but once the gang recognises the notorious bounty hunters prize in their midst, escape becomes almost impossible.

It takes a special kind of man to walk in a sheriffs office and claim the bounty on another wanted man but the men Bannister is riding with have never let loyalty stand in the way of easy money. Now trapped between a bloodthirsty gang, a waiting sheriff and the noose that has followed him across the West, Jim Bannister must once again fight for the one thing no reward can buy: his freedom.
