TO HELL WITH YOU

Birdie and Enid are soulmates. But do they have a chance in Hell?

When Birdie Brown dies in a car crash, shes disappointed to find herself not in Heaven. Okay, its not all bad: this isn’t the worst part of Hell. But tea is never the right temperature, staircases stretch on much longer than necessary, and all the books in the library are missing their endings. Birdie’s memory is patchy – she cant even remember how she died – so who knows why she’s landed here...

Birdie’s next-door-neighbour, Enid, is a glass-half-full kind of girl, and shes convinced mistakes have been made. She doesnt belong in Hell, and she’s certain Birdie definitely doesnt. Enid, by the way, is a fallen angel – at least, temporarily. She’s got a plan, though: she and Birdie can prove they’re good enough for Heaven.

But the more Enid and Birdie learn about Hell, the more questions they have. Whos really in charge? And why are souls disappearing without any warning?

Enid knows from experience that asking questions leads to trouble. But as the two grow closer, buried truths begin to surface, putting them in ever graver danger.

To stay together, Enid and Birdie will have to face their demons and their angels. And to defy fate, theyll have to raise a little Hell.
