From the Grammy-nominated and multiplatinum singer-songwriter and New York Times bestselling author Tori Amos comes A Sorta Fairytale, a charming and whimsical prequel to Tori and the Muses about the magic created by working together.

The light in the town of Rose Dover is growing dim under the evil spell of Mr. Bad Man, and a young Tori is determined to help get its spark back. But the task is too big to take on alone. When Tori sends out a call for assistance to Greg the raccoon and all her other animal friends in The Emerald Forest, they are eager to assist. Even with all the creatures and faeries of the forest working, theres still a powerful and necessary force missing—the Muses!

With a little touch of magic and a lot of teamwork, the Muses and Friends of the Emerald Forest get to work building a very special pink piano that will let Toris music soar and allow Rose Dover to shine once more. But will it be enough to break Mr. Bad Mans spell?

Filled with joy, curiosity, and imagination, this second picture book written by Tori Amos, with otherworldly illustrations by Demelsa Haughton, will once again inspire, encourage, and, most importantly, remind young readers to find inspiration in the things they love and to listen to their own Muses.
