AIRCRAFTS. PAST AND PRESENT

"AIRCRAFTS, PAST AND PRESENT provides a captivating pictorial survey of the history of human flight. In man´s eternal quest to discover and invent, his first steps in aeronautics coincided with the development of photography. Both new sciences aroused passionate enthusiasm. Since man first conceived a machine to defy the laws of gravity, flying has been a constant source of fascination. In this book have been brought together some classic and often relatively unknown pictures of aircraft exemplifying the various stages of man´s conquest of the skies. Some show warplanes while others illustrate the development of civil aviation, but all of them are evidence of the inventive genius of their designers."
