ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE (Edimburgo, 1859 - Crowborough, 1930) fue el escritor más leído de su época gracias a su famosa creación, el detective Sherlock Holmes, bajo cuya sombra siempre vivió tanto su persona como el resto de su obra.
