James Mattew Barrie(1860-1938) va ser un novel·lista i dramaturg escocès. Abans de publicar l'exitosaPeter Pan, havia escrit novel·les i obres de teatre.Peter Panprimer va aparèixer com a obra de teatre el 1904 i, posteriorment, passat a novel·la el 1911.Javier Andrada dedica la seva feina a dos àmbits fonamentals: la pintura i la il·lustració.
